Network Engineer

Netwwork Engineer is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and upgrading of the Springdale Public Schools Infrastructure. This includes wired, wireless, VOIP, and security as it relates to these systems. This position is part of the enterprise team and works directly with systems, development, and management for the purpose of technology lifecycle and forecasting for future upgrades and projects. This is an "on call" position monitoring systems outside of operational hours to ensure uptime when problems occur.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilites for this position include

Cisco networking routing a switching.

Cisco wireless management and upgrades

Cisco VOIP call manager management and maintenance

Connectivity monitoring of all sites

Management of door entry systems

Management and configuration of CMS (GoGuardian)

Any and all other duties assigned or anticipated

EXPERIENCE:

Valid and documented experience managing large scale Cisco networks

Valid and documented experience managing Cisco call manager

Valid and documented experience managing Cisco wireless

Valid and documented large scale enterprise routing and switching knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have 5 years of documented Cisco networking experience

Must have a college degree

Must be certified in Cisco Networking

Must be a team player

Must be a problem solver

Must be a self starter

Must be an independent thinker

Must be willing to put in the time and accept the responsibility
