Network Engineer - Azure & Cisco Focus

Join a dynamic IT team driving innovation and operational excellence across a global network footprint. We're seeking a hands-on Network Engineer with strong Azure cloud networking expertise and deep Cisco infrastructure experience to help design, implement, secure, and optimize highly available enterprise network systems.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, deploy, and support enterprise LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center networks with a focus on Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, SD-WAN).
  • Engineer and manage Azure network solutions (Virtual WAN, VPN Gateways, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Network Security Groups, etc.), aligning with hybrid cloud strategies.
  • Automate network deployment, monitoring, configuration management, and performance reporting using tools like Python, Ansible, Cisco DNA Center, and Forward Networks.
  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and proactive maintenance to ensure peak network performance and uptime.
  • Support and optimize security operations including firewall management (Cisco Firepower/ASA), NAC solutions (Cisco ISE, Forescout), and security posture assurance.
  • Drive data center operations, including hands-on cabling, equipment installs, and vendor management (Equinix experience a plus).
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and network architecture diagrams.
  • Participate in a global 24/7 on-call rotation, focused on continuous improvement, automation, and incident prevention.
What You Bring:
  • 7+ years of network engineering experience in Cisco-heavy environments.
  • 3+ years of cloud network engineering, particularly Azure networking services.
  • Expertise with Cisco platforms: DNA Center, DCNM, Wireless Solutions, Firepower, ISE.
  • Proven experience automating network operations (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Solid understanding of SD-WAN, hybrid cloud connectivity, and data center networking best practices.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver on complex IT infrastructure initiatives.
Bonus Points For:
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace), centralized policy management, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
