Responsibilities:
- Manage Data Center operational tickets, specifically working on Cisco ACI, Arista, Routing and Switching tech.
- Handle day-to-day operations and respond to network-related tickets promptly and effectively.
- Implement and maintain core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN etc.
- Participate in on-call rotations and promptly respond to network alerts and incidents.
- Maintain VPN and secure remote access solutions to ensure datacenter accessibility while maintaining security.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs for day to day operations set by the Network Architect throughout the project.
- Conduct network troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
- Follow the change management process to perform network configuration changes and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience on Cisco ACI, Arista, Cisco Routing and Switching
- 5-8 years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on core networking protocols.
- Knowledge of modern datacenter solutions is a plus.
- Proven experience in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN, firewalls etc.
- Familiarity with network security principles and experience in setting up VPN and secure remote access solutions is a plus
- Ability to take ownership of day-to-day network operations and respond to tickets efficiently.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and promptly respond to alerts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with users and cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently/under minimal supervision and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP in networking or related fields are a plus.
Pay Summary:
Hourly pay rate between $50-54/hr W2, depending on experience
