PSI has a need for a Network Engineer to support a collaborative and innovative team that directly supports DoD Special Forces programs and internal corporate projects. You will be a critical part of a team of Network/System Administrators, maintaining various DoDIN, Corporate, Cloud, and Tactical networks in support of our teams around the globe.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
    The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring secure and resilient operations for Corporate and DoD networks.
  • Responsible for applying industry standard network administration.
  • Provide Tier 1, 2 & 3 support for fielded systems, which includes development, test, sustainment, upgrading, and fielding of network devices and imaged systems.
  • Analyzes, compatibility testing and provide COA recommendations on implementation of incremental upgrades, including expansion of networks and development of new networks and ensure new capabilities securely interfaces between existing networks and applications in accordance with Government regulations and policy.
  • Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
  • Supports new infrastructure projects.
  • Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
  • Provide troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all networking devices.
  • Manage network diagrams and update changes as completed.
  • Provide support for troubleshooting and repairs (installation and removal) of network equipment and wiring.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5-8+ years of experience in network engineering, with expertise in areas like network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and management of large-scale enterprise networks.
  • Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
  • Active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Knowledge of Special Operations, SOCOM, and C4ISR systems and networks.
  • Knowledge of DoD information assurance, policy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment.
  • Expertise required in next generation firewalls and web application firewalls (Barracuda, Palo Alto), network hardware (CISCO, Aruba, Juniper, HP), network monitoring tools (Splunk, Solarwinds, Snort, Wireshark), HBSS tools McAfee).
