Role: Network Engineer
Location - Las Vegas, NV

Network Engineer well versed in Aruba switch deployment and configuration to leading the migration from Cisco network environment. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement a transition plan to replace Cisco network hardware with Aruba switches across enterprise environments.
- Configure, test, and deploy Aruba switches (OS-CX and/or OS-S)
- Decommission and remove legacy Cisco systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to switch performance, VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, and network routing.
- Work closely with infrastructure, help desk, and security teams to ensure proper integration with existing systems and compliance with company policies.
- Update and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, IP address assignments, and configuration changes.
Qualifications.
- Proven experience w Aruba switches, including hands-on deployment.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, STP, and QoS.
- Familiarity with Aruba Central, Aruba AirWave, or NetEdit is a strong plus.
Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus; Aruba certifications (e.g., Aruba Certified Switching Associate/Professional) are strongly preferred
