Job Summary: Are you passionate about designing and maintaining cutting-edge network systems? Join our team as a Network Engineer and play a crucial role in building and optimizing our network infrastructure. You'll work with a variety of technologies, including routers, switches, load-balancers, and firewalls, to ensure our network runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and Configure: Create, install, and configure network server systems and repair hardware.
- Monitor and Optimize: Maintain and support all networked software and operating systems to ensure peak performance.
- Network Development: Use your expertise to design, build, and install both internal and external networks.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform remedial maintenance on file servers and network devices, and troubleshoot issues to ensure stability.
- Innovation and Improvement: Identify and implement cost-effective technology solutions to enhance our network.
- Vendor Collaboration: Assist in comparing vendors and planning large-scale system projects.
- Risk Management: Work with IT risk management and security teams to minimize business risks.
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 2 years of relevant and progressive professional experience.
- Experience with Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and Microsoft technologies.
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) is required.
- Strong understanding of Internet/Intranet technologies, including security features, switching, routing, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Advanced organizational and analytical abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
