About You: As a Network Engineer,. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining our production network. You will act as technical representative for your team during major incidents and troubleshooting of network-related issues. Success in this role will require strong and innovative approaches to problem solving, technical leadership, excellent communication (written and verbal, formal and informal), flexibility, accountability and a self-motivated working style with attention to detail.
Minimal Qualifications: - 5+ years of industry experience and expert knowledge in network operations and implementation of core network infrastructure in data center and enterprise environment
- Experience with Layer 2 technologies: STP, LACP, vPC
- Experience with Layer 3 routing protocols: EIGRP/OSPF, BGP, vRF and route redistribution
- Experience with Network security solutions and technologies: Firewalls, ACLs, IPSec VPNs; NAT on firewalls
- Hands-on experience with Cisco equipment: Nexus/Catalyst switches, Cisco ASA Firewalls, DMZ segmentation
Job requirements Desirable skills/experience in: - Working experience with FinTech connectivity providers
- Public cloud providers - AWS and Azure: VPC/VNET, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, network load balancers
- Monitoring tools: Network sniffers, deep packet inspection, SolarWinds, PRTG
- Next Generation Firewalls: Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, FortiGate
Responsibilities: - The role of Network Engineer - SaaS Operations - is to support and implement complex network infrastructure in a mission-critical datacenter, WAN and enterprise environment.
- Implement changes in a controlled change management environment.
- Utilize routing, switching and firewall skills to troubleshoot network issues and performance.
- Participate in requirement gathering for client onboarding.
- Work with vendors to establish connectivity with remote parties.
- Perform datacenter maintenance by installing and maintaining network equipment.
- Maintain network diagrams and documentation.
