What You'll Do- Design, configure, and maintain networks that support internet, voice, and VLAN products.
- Provision and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, traffic shapers, firewalls).
- Optimize QoS and traffic management via monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with telecom and cross-functional teams on new solutions.
- Act as escalation support for complex network issues.
- Keep our documentation and knowledge base current and accessible.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and certifications.
- Assist with vendor management and SLA oversight.
- Be part of an on-call rotation for outages and maintenance.
Tech You'll Work With We work with a broad mix of technology, and you'll need to be fluent in areas like:
- Routing protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, GRE
- Cisco routing & switching (ISP-grade level knowledge)
- Firewalls (PIX), VPN concentrators, SNMP, RADIUS
- Microwave transport, DSL, cable modem systems, VSAT
- SONET, UNIX/Linux environments, and more
What We're Looking For- 4+ years of networking experience (ISP/telecom preferred) or a degree in IT.
- Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCDA) are a big plus.
- Hands-on experience with network architecture and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Someone who thrives on solving problems and collaborating with teams.
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas, TX area.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship).
