Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a
Network Engineer to join a DoD program
. The
Network Engineer will be on-site in
Chantilly, VA and will help to expand and develop network devices in a software-defined environment. This position involves cloud security for a SOC environment and will allow a candidate to develop new skills related to RedSeal and access lists. This position is normal hours Monday-Friday with core hours from 9-3pm.
Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include: - Develop, install, maintain, and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Work with engineers to implement a model of a network device that can be loaded into RedSeal and introduce new technologies and data systems into the engine.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for cybersecurity and network technologies for the SOC environment.
Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include: - 5+ years of experience with network engineering
- Experience with Linux and Windows systems
- Experience with AWS and related cloud technologies
- Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Compensation for the Network Engineer include: - Salary Range: $100,000-145,000 depending on years of experience
