As a Senior Network Engineer, you will support the client's program by applying your expertise in network routing, network design and architecture, system interoperability, and IP engineering. Your skills will be essential in supporting program architecture operations and technology evolution. Your network engineering will be leveraged to optimize client operations and drive modernization. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 5+ years of experience with network engineering, including designing, analyzing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network architectures
Experience with networking platforms, including Cisco or Juniper, and firewall platforms, including Palo Alto
Experience documenting network topologies and system requirements
Knowledge of network routing protocols such as BGP, GRE, or Tunnels
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices
Ability to develop and c ond uct tests to ensure systems meet user requirements
Ability to provide technical support, diagnoses, and resolve system problems
Ability to write network implementation plans
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with government or DoD network operations, network architectures, or network services
Experience with cybersecurity practices, including ACAS scans and STIG compliance
Knowledge of securing communications architectures
Ability to supervise others
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree
Cisco Certified Network Asso cia te ( CCNA ) or Cisco Certified Network Professional ( CCNP ) Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
