Network Engineer

Selectek has an opportunity for a talented and motivated Network Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality network solutions. This is an exciting contract-to-direct opportunity, offering the chance to build a long-term career with us. You'll have the flexibility to choose your work location from Tucson, AZ, Omaha, NE, or Atlanta, GA. Note: You must be authorized to work for any employer in the USA to be considered. What You'll Do: Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex wired and wireless networks for enterprise environments. Partner with pre-sales teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs. Provide advanced support to network technicians, escalating issues as needed. Offer technical assistance to help desk personnel. We're Looking For: A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering. A CCNA or CWNA certification (preferred). Proven experience deploying and managing Ruckus Wireless equipment in production environments. Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal). Bonus Points for: In-depth understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts. Mastery of IPv4, including subnetting. Expertise in 802.11 WiFi and RF fundamentals. Experience with network services like NTP, DNS, and DHCP. Familiarity with low-latency applications for voice and video. Knowledge of IPv6 addressing. Experience managing Brocade ICX Series switches in production environments. A background working with industry-standard wired and wireless solutions from Cisco, HP (Aruba), etc. Experience using network monitoring platforms that leverage SNMP, syslog, OpenFlow, S-Flow, etc. Ready to take your IT career to the next level?
