Network Engineer III Sr. for our premier client in
Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Education and Experience " - Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Work Experience (years): Minimum of 5-8 years of experience.
- Experience in Cisco and Palo Alto desired.
- Experience developing new systems and tools.
- Experience in documenting and maintaining up to date systems procedures.
- Experience identifying and implement process improvements.
- Demonstrated technical experience.
- Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively on projects.
- Demonstrated experience trouble shooting.
- Experience with end user issues.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities " - Excellent communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of applicable IT systems/applications.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities: - Prepares review analysis, capacity planning and recommendations of the existing network infrastructure and related security processes.
- Contributes in escalation services for network related mission critical systems on a rotational basis.
- Provides review analysis, capacity planning and enhancement recommendations of the existing network infrastructure and related security processes.
- Maintains network infrastructure hardware including ongoing software/firmware patches and upgrades.
- Conducts network architecture design, viability and cost studies.
- Analyzes and maintains network health monitoring and notification tools.
- May lead project implementation.
