The person filling this role will be working as a Senior Network Engineer , supporting the Revelyst network infrastructure. They will take a lead role in planning, deploying, and supporting networking equipment. They will also take part in the day to day operations of the network team, including but not limited to handling service tickets, working with venders, and performing network maintenance.

This position reports to the IT Manager, Networking and is based out of one of our headquarter offices; Irvine, CA; Bozeman, MT; San Diego, CA; or Hyde Park, UT

As the Network Engineer III, you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Extensive knowledge of networking concepts in an enterprise network
  • Networking School, vendor certification (CCNP), or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Advanced Network troubleshooting skills
  • 6+ years of networking experience
  • Network Design Experience
  • MPLS/BGP Experience
  • Packet capture dissection experience
  • Senior Network Engineer
  • Maintain the health of Revelyst's network
  • Work trouble tickets
  • Plan and implement changes
  • Work with networking venders
  • Mentor junior network engineers
  • Interface with plant and office employees
  • Network design & deployment
  • Participate in regular on-call rotation
You have:
  • Extensive knowledge of networking concepts in an enterprise network
  • Networking School, vendor certification (CCNP preferred), or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Advanced Network troubleshooting skills
  • 6+ years of networking experience
  • Network Design Experience
  • SD-WAN and MPLS experience
  • OSPF and BGP Experience
  • VoIP and Collaboration experience a plus
You might also have:
  • Experience setting up Enterprise MPLS Networks
  • Experience working in global network environment
  • Additional Cisco Professional Certifications
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Physical Requirements:

Applicant must be able to lift 30lbs.

Mental Requirements:

Ability to handle stressful situations. Desire and ability to learn basic and advanced networking skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in information technology or AAS degree and equivalent experience.

Equipment Used:

Cisco Switches, Routers, APs, and Wireless controllers, Meraki APs

Working Environment:

Work will be performed in a combination of solo and group activities in an office or plant environment. There will be some on site physical work including but not limited to mounting, racking, and cabling network gear, as well as surveying for future network expansions and wireless additions.

Discretion:

Work is performed under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Impact:

Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the department.

Liaison:

Represents department as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $65,000.00 - $97,400.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
