Location: Englewood, CO - Hybrid, 4 days onsite Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension or conversion Pay Range: $60-$65/hr A large telecom client in the Englewood area is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves:
- Investigating issues on enterprise networks and related hardware/software.
- Reproducing issues in a lab environment.
- Collaborating with vendors to develop solutions.
Responsibilities:- Design and document network architecture.
- Assess existing technologies to identify performance and capacity gaps.
- Establish security, connectivity, and access parameters.
- Provide recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
- Test and tune security devices and systems.
- Program routers and switches.
- Implement communications technologies (data or voice).
- Manage network services from planning through implementation.
Required Skills and Experience:- 5-10 years of Network Engineering experience.
- Solid knowledge of switch platforms, routing protocols, network hardware/software, security technologies, and network infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of DOCSIS, EPON, and RPHY standards.
- Working knowledge of iCMTS platforms (Casa C100G, Arris E6000, Cisco cBR8).
- Experience with Harmonic CableOS vCMTS and RPDs (Harmonic Pebble 2 and Vecima ERM-32X).
- Ability to write technical documentation, follow detailed technical test plans, and present results.
This is a hybrid position in Englewood, CO that can pay between $60-$65/hr. Exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
