An Overview The Network Engineer II is responsible for overseeing the Department's IT network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication across the organization. Under general supervision, this role involves the design, implementation, support, and optimization of Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and telecommunications systems. This position plays a critical role in maintaining secure and efficient network operations while providing technical guidance and leadership to team members. The role reports to the Division Chief of Information Technology.
