An energy and recycling company in the Irving, TX area is looking to grow their network engineering team. This company specializes in turning by-products and food waste into sustainable products. They are the largest publicly traded organization in this industry. They have over 250 facilities across the world. This is a full-time direct hire position out of their Irving, TX office (near Las Colinas). This will be a hybrid position with 2-3 days in office.
Right now, they are looking for a Network Engineer that is really strong with Cisco gears, having a solid understanding of Catalyst, Nexus, and Meraki. You will also be responsible for building out and configurations of their Palo Alto firewalls, and load balancing.
Required Skills & Experience - 3-5 years of Network Engineering experience
- Strong experience with Cisco including Catalyst, Nexus, and Meraki
- Palo Alto firewall configurations
- Load Balancing
Desired Skills & Experience - CCNA or CCNP Certification is a nice to have
What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
- 70% Cisco networking leveraging Catalyst, Nexus and Meraki
- 20% Firewall management and configuration
- 10% Load balancing
