If you are passionate about cutting-edge technology and thrive in a dynamic, high-stakes environment, this is your chance to make a real difference in national defense. We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support Air Combat Command's Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance mission.

As a key member of our project team, you will:
  • Act as the main point of contact for network enhancements and certification processes.
  • Ensure optimal performance and strategic upgrades for the BOCKSCAR network.
  • Lead mobile device management services, integrating necessary applications while researching innovative technology.
  • Make critical decisions regarding upgrades and approvals for the BOCKSCAR network and the Electronic Flight Bag program.
  • Provide essential technical recommendations that support our warfighters directly.
Your Impact:
  • Maintain and oversee the BOCKSCAR network and all associated equipment efficiently.
  • Manage mobile electronic devices for over 3,200 Air Force personnel, ensuring timely updates and support.
  • Plan and implement upgrades for the BOCKSCAR network and the Electronic Flight Bag program.
  • Collaborate closely with key Air Force teams to drive mission success.
  • Keep leadership, aircrews, and contractors up-to-date on critical system developments.
  • Create detailed technical documents, network maps, and reports essential for mission effectiveness.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing for networks and mobile devices, addressing issues and recovery as needed.
  • Deliver vital updates and briefings to senior military stakeholders.
What's Required:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Current Secret Clearance required, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • IAT Level 2 Minimum (Sec+) certification is necessary.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
  • Expertise in Apple iOS, OSX, and familiarity with Air Force publications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A self-starter attitude with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively brief senior leadership.
Preferred Skills That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with AGILE and DEVOPS methodologies.
  • A deep understanding of networking architecture.
  • Project Management expertise.
  • Knowledge in Information Assurance (IATT/ATO).
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management.
  • Skills in Apple iOS Profile Creation.
  • Familiarity with Air Force Publication Operations.

Pay Range: Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
