Job Title: Network Design Engineer Support Type: W-2, Contract ONLY- Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule) Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour with limited benefits No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED Geologics is currently seeking a Network Design Engineer in our Scottsdale, AZ location. Minimum Requirements: US Citizenship Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of job-related experience.
Enterprise Network Design/topology
High speed network design and implementation
Maintenance of Network topology that utilize Linux IDM/Windows Servers for DNS and Account Management, Juniper Firewalls, Arista Switches and NAS/SAN storage
Familiarity with Multicast, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc)
Experience with vulnerability scanning, hardening and resolution of findings
Written skills to include development and maintenance of documentation for network, system, operations, etc.
Familiarity with VMware vSphere and virtual machines
Familiarity with Red Hat Linux operating system
