Network Controller with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Network Controller to support a well-established federal contracting company based out of Hill AirForce Base in Utah. The Network Controller will be responsible for supporting telecommunications and network devices for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. Responsibilities of the Network Controller: Proactively diagnosing and resolving network monitoring errors using advanced troubleshooting techniques Applying deep technical expertise in networking principles across multiple domains Conducting in-depth circuit diagnostics using router commands, alarms, and error analysis Utilizing industry-leading monitoring tools to track network performance and escalate critical issues when necessary Managing incident resolution workflows Qualifications of the Network Controller: 5+ years of relevant experience Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) at time of start date Ability to work in a 24/7-365 operational setting Hands-on expertise in fault monitoring, LAN maintenance, and performance optimization SATCOM experience Experience with networking technologies, including routing, switching, cryptography, DSN/DRSN, video services, optical switching, and leading vendors like Cisco and Juniper Understanding of network topologies Must hold an ACTIVE SECRET clearance with the ability to maintain a top secret clearance Compensation for the Network Controller: Compensation: Between $30-38/hr based on years of experience Comprehensive Benefits: Full Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Sick leave as required by law Vision, 401k, PTO plan This job opens for applications on 05/23/2025.
