We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Network Construction Administrative Coordinator to support the daily administrative and operational functions of our Fiber Network Construction team. This role will be responsible for managing purchase orders (POs), change management requests (CMs), reviewing invoices, coordinating fiber splice packages, and ensuring process quality and compliance across assigned geographic areas.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of telecommunications operations, particularly in fiber network construction, and will serve as a critical point of support between field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. A strong focus on data accuracy, financial tracking, and communication is essential, as the role contributes to key KPIs including OpEx spend, MTTR, % On-Time Installs, and small cell fiber completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, submit, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Change Managements (CMs) for network construction activities.
  • Review and validate vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract terms, particularly for fiber splicing work.
  • Support the fiber splicing process, including reviewing splice packages from Engineering and distributing to field teams or vendors.
  • Assist in tracking project deliverables and milestones, and flag variances in scope, budget, or timeline.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, track expenditures, and assist with forecasting and billing reconciliation.
  • Generate and present progress reports, KPI updates, and ad hoc reporting requests to management.
  • Support the Network Construction Implementation team with various administrative duties including correspondence, meeting coordination, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding scheduling, invoicing, splicing requirements, and issue resolution.
  • Schedule and arrange for police detail or city permits related to fiber splicing activities as required.
  • Ensure understanding of small cell requirements, including accurate compilation of close-out packages (COPs) and service delivery standards.
  • Maintain open and effective communication across departments to promote consistency, quality, and operational alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in telecommunications, fiber network construction, project coordination, or financial administration.
  • Experience with PO/CM creation and invoice management in a network operations environment.
  • Strong understanding of fiber splicing, engineering documentation, and close-out packages.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with attention to detail and follow-through.
