Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across Windows and Linux platforms

Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups
Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access
Implement and monitor cyber-security measures to protect data and system integrity
Participate in light software development and testing tasks to support our IT operations
Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Develop and maintain system documentation for efficient operation and troubleshooting Requirements BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline
3 and 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description
Mid-level expertise in system administration with 3-5 years of experience
Strong understanding of network components, i.e., routers, switches, firewall
Understanding of cyber-security principles and practices with DOD guidelines
Light software development and testing skills, preferably with Cypress and Jest, 1-2 years of experience
Relevant professional certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network ,CompTIA Data+, Linux Professional Institute (LPI) , Active Directory , Hypervisors (Hyper-V, VMware) Preferred Prior military experience, particularly in IT or System Administration
Kubernetes experience
Tier 2 IT Help Desk experience
