Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for maintaining and enhancing network infrastructure? Kellogg Community Credit Union is seeking a Network Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This role is essential in ensuring our technology infrastructure remains secure, efficient, and reliable for both our internal and external members.


Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the credit union's local area and wide area network, including servers, PCs, and all peripheral devices.
  • Implement and manage backup procedures to maintain data integrity and security.
  • Diagnose IT issues within the infrastructure, troubleshoot, and develop solutions to resolve system-related problems.
  • Provide technical support to end users by resolving hardware, software, and systems integration issues via phone, in person, or online.
  • Install, configure, and test new servers, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and service agreements.
  • Administer and maintain phone systems, including VoIP solutions as needed.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies that enhance system efficiency and security.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to support system upgrades and resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in network/system administration or a similar IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, VMware, and backup solutions such as Veeam.
  • Experience with networking components, including switches, firewalls, VLANs, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices, intrusion detection/prevention, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud-based systems, and system automation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to assist non-technical users effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
