TMC Technologies is in search of a highly skilled Network Administrator to join us in support of the FBI's CJIS Division, Communication Technologies Unit (CTU) to provide networking services to FBI stakeholders and users. This is for a bid effort with an award decision from the government expected in late May 2025. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Top Secret clearance due to federal contract requirements. The Network Administrator - Senior shall be responsible for the following: - Maintain computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware. - Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues. - Update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected. - Monitor computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks. - Communicate networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users. - Fix software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and operational procedures. - Diagnose and resolve network issues quickly to minimize downtime. Job Requirements - US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required - Minimum of five years of experience in network administration required - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field is preferred - Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe required - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred - Knowledge of network protocols, standards, and devices (e.g., TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, VPN) - Familiar with network security principles and practices (e.g., firewall configuration) - Knowledgeable with network operating systems (e.g., Windows Server) and management tools (e.g., Cisco IOS) We are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
