Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Network Administrator on behalf of our client, a leading multi-site operator of collision repair centers across the U.S. This role is critical to maintaining the performance, security, and scalability of the company's network infrastructure. The Network Administrator will manage current systems, implement new solutions as the company expands, and support regulatory compliance requirements. This position plays a key part in ensuring reliable connectivity and strong cybersecurity measures across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor existing network infrastructure and implement additional systems as needed
  • Collaborate with ISPs and telecom providers to add, maintain, and decommission services
  • Evaluate the current network environment and provide recommendations based on usage trends and future growth
  • Create and manage project action plans, meet deadlines, and communicate regularly with leadership and the team
  • Support PCI DSS compliance and participate in completing relevant sections of the annual PCI scan
  • Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures related to network administration
  • Safeguard confidential information and ensure secure network operations
  • Continuously learn and apply new networking tools and techniques to enhance daily operations
  • Provide third-level technical support for complex networking and telecommunications issues
  • Assist in network capacity planning, security assessments, and network management best practices
Requirements include:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
Experience:
  • Proven experience with Fortinet devices (firewalls, switches, access points, FortiManager, FortiExtender, etc.)
  • Experience with general network management, security protocols, and capacity planning
  • Prior experience with PCI DSS compliance preferred
  • Familiarity with various firewall brands including SonicWALL, Juniper, Checkpoint, and Watchguard
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, OSPF, routing, IPSEC VPNs, and VLANs
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Certifications:
  • Certifications in networking or security (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE) are a plus
Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of data privacy regulations and PCI compliance standards
  • Best practices in network security and infrastructure management

  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional sitting
  • The role may require bending, crawling, climbing, and using hands frequently for tools and technology
  • Reports to the IT or Network Infrastructure Manager
