Job Responsibilities:
- Provide call coverage during scheduled dates, including April 11-13 and June 6-8.
- Manage patient care in an inpatient setting.
- Respond to call requests within a 60-minute timeframe.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management.
- Coordinate with hospital staff and accommodate patient needs effectively.
- Participate in assigned rounding for inpatients.
- Engage in telephone consultations as required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine - Nephrology.
- Completion of a Nephrology fellowship is required.
- Active medical license is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in an inpatient environment is highly desirable.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine - Nephrology.
- Fellowship in Nephrology is required.
- Temporary privileges available during this locum tenens assignment.
