Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opening in Illinois Freeport, IlChicago 115mAbout the Position:Employed, full-time position, flexible 24-hour shifts Provide neonatal care for newborns, delivery support as needed Collaborate with pediatricians, family medicine physicians, and nursing staff Collaborate with our Perinatal Center NICU team via Teledoc as needed Respond to ED for noenate (less than 28 days old) patients Perform newborn assessments, manage common neonatal conditions, and provide family education Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), BLS and NRP certification required Comprehensive benefits package includes CME, Vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, retirement program, disability insurance and more.Clinical Experience: 5+ years experience as NNP Well Newborn Care Premature infant with RDS, respiratory distress Infant with Hyperbilirubinemia SGA infant, VLBW Infant of a diabetic mother Infant with sepsis, meconium aspiration Umbilical lines Fluid and electrolyte management of high-risk infant Emergency medications Blood products and blood transfusion Performance of screening diagnostic tests, therapeutic interventions, and emergency procedures Surveillance of the growing newborn and high-risk infant Coordinating discharge and follow-up care for thehigh-risk infantOur Community: Nestled in the beautiful northwest corner of Illinois, Freeport, IL, offers a lifestyle of comfort, welcome, and balance.
