Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Permanent Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Dallas, TX.

Position Details:

• Patient Population: Neonates, including high-risk deliveries

• Setting: Inpatient rounds in Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU

• Responsibilities: Manage 8-10 patients per day shift, 20-30 patients per night shift, perform procedures, and attend high-risk deliveries

• Required Procedures: NICU procedures, high-risk deliveries

• EMR System: EPIC

• Support Staff: 3-4 NNPs, Resident, Fellow, Neonatologist

• Days Per Month: Includes 72 weekend hours in a 6-week schedule, Friday night through Monday morning

• On-Call/Weekends: Required for 72 hours over 6 weeks
Submission Requirements:

• Board Eligible/Board Certified NNP (may also consider Family, Adult, Pediatric, Psychiatric Mental Health, or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience) Required

• 3+ years of Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience, including work as RN and/or NNP Required

• TX license (or willing to obtain) Required

• BLS, NRP (or willing to obtain) Required

• Clean malpractice and license history Required

• COVID-vaccinated Required

• Quick start Highly Preferred
