Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - NICCU
The Nurse Practitioner II provides nursing and medical care, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and managing conditions. They work independently and with healthcare teams, serving as a resource, advocate, and mentor, while supporting patient-focused care and optimizing the CHLA healthcare system.

Minimum Qualifications for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - NICCU
3+ years pediatric experience preferred. 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant required.
Education/Licensure/Certification for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - NICCU
Masters of Science degree in Nursing from an N.L.N. accredited graduate school of nursing required.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing for "hold out as a Nurse Practitioner" as defined in Section 1482, Nurse Practice Act, Business and Professional Code.
Current California Registered Nurse License and current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
AHA BLS/PALS, National Certification as an NP in specialty field. Furnishing license.
