A national Pediatric/Pediatric subspecialty group is seeking an experienced NNP for a full-time position in beautiful Ft. Myers, Florida.

Where you will practice: Golisano Children's Hospital is part of Lee Health and the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. It includes comprehensive pediatric services including a 24-hour pediatric emergency department, hematology-oncology unit, milk lab, Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center, and Level II and Level III NICU with 70 private rooms. Golisano Children s Hospital is proud to have been named Soliant s 2018 Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S., a recognition determined by popular vote. It has also been named top children's hospital by the Leapfrog Group four times, among many other accolades

  • The health system has two facilities, a Level III and a Level I, with a total of 7000 deliveries per year
  • Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at the Level-III NICU
  • The Level 1 site coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home
  • In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage
  • 12 hr shifts, with the option for 24hr shifts based on experience level
  • Full-time NNPs work 156 hours a month (1872 a year)
  • All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
  • Join a team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs
  • Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research, if desired
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
  • NNP - Board Certified - REQUIRED (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
  • Active FL License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of experience as NNP - REQUIRED
  • Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates
  • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
