This position is a replacement role and will serve as the SME for our Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments. The successful candidate will manage over 150 compute servers hosted in Azure and 250 Windows desktops and will play a key role in supporting and maintaining enterprise-level infrastructure. This is not a helpdesk role. The focus will be on managing systems via Active Directory and Group Policy, with additional responsibilities in Microsoft 365 administration and Rubrik backup systems. Prior experience in the tolling industry is required. Engagement Details: Location: Must be able to travel to Clifton Forge, VA to pick up equipment and attend on-site staff meetings every 4560 days. Interview Process: Microsoft Teams interview only a functioning webcam is required. Contract Duration: Through 6/30 with likely extension for 612+ months. On-Call Rotation: One week per month. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the SME for Windows Server 2016/2019 and Windows 10 administration. Administer and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy infrastructure. Manage Azure-hosted compute servers and Microsoft 365 E5 solutions. Support Rubrik backup solution administration within Azure. Ensure infrastructure performance, tuning, and security hardening. Collaborate with internal teams and end users to troubleshoot system issues. Contribute to documentation, testing, and process improvement efforts. Participate in an on-call support rotation.
