This role requires strong coordination, communication, and program management skills, as well as prior experience working within VDOT. As a key contributor to VDOTs enterprise data program, the Associate Data Program Manager will oversee scheduling, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional team coordination, and program documentation. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presencethree days per week. Key Responsibilities: Support the planning, execution, and ongoing operations of enterprise data programs. Develop, maintain, and track detailed program schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor program performance and ensure timely delivery of objectives. Facilitate coordination across teams including data analysts, enterprise data stewards, and technical staff. Manage and direct the work of master data analysts. Contribute to the improvement and upkeep of data infrastructure and management tools. Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and project teams. Prepare and distribute regular program status reports and updates to leadership. Lead and facilitate program-related meetings; document agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items. Maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation. Ensure all program activities adhere to defined quality standards and best practices. Conduct periodic program reviews and recommend process improvements. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business administration, Data Management, Program/Project Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in program coordination or management, particularly in enterprise data programs. Prior experience working within VDOT. Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project Solid understanding of enterprise data management concepts and methodologies. Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. PMP certification or equivalent is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data governance frameworks and industry best practices. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards. Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational environment.
