Your Role

You will have a background in sales and account management, with experience managing strategic customer relationships and developing sales resources. Additionally, you will understand supply chain and logistics operations, and the ability to work with multiple teams across the organization. Your Responsibilities
  • Manage a network of sales resources for Strategic Customer(s) in North America (NAM) and overall, to improve sales growth and take advantage of value creation opportunities across Kuehne+Nagel's business units.
  • Identify and determine the resources required within Kuehne+Nagel to maximize value creation opportunities across the business units.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations, to understand opportunities for
  • Kuehne+Nagel and serve as the NAM "voice" to Vertical Owners and Senior Kuehne+Nagel Management for identified issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain close customer communication and Kuehne+Nagel's operations, to provide a uniform understanding of customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timeline, costs, and results.
  • Direct operational issues to the correct operational owner.
  • Promote understanding across regions and business units as the "primary" lead for managing Strategic Customer Business Plans
  • Report Strategic Customer development to the NAM lead at agreed intervals
  • Conduct personal performance reviews (PPR) in compliance with company guidelines
  • Direct the KAM team to maintain required training to achieve and maintain compliance certifications such as CEIV, GXP, Kuehne+Nagel Risk, and DMS
  • Manage the Key Account Manager team's travel and expenses within company policy guidelines
Your Skills and Experiences
  • 5+ years of logistics sales and account management experience
  • Industrial vertical experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Creative ability in developing team-based sales strategies and solutions

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
