Position: National Marketing Coordinator

Department: Marketing

Job Summary:

The National Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and executing various projects with regards to National Marketing of CDS. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting NM staff to develop and cultivate new and existing VIP guests through the coordination of various casino marketing programs and initiatives. Heightens the National Marketing segment by ensuring optimal guest experience of NM guests. Assists NM personnel with affiliate programing, Independent/junket rep program and other marketing initiatives of NM. Assists with administrative duties within the NM department. Helps create/develop exceptional guest experience and loyalty of NM clientele through concept, design, creation and execution of VIP events/promotions both on and off property. Assists with the enhancement of growth of revenue through the building and maintaining of strong relationships with VIP level players and affiliates. Ensures optimal communication with all guests as well as internal staff and departments to achieve a seamless transition of guests to fellow team members for a quality experience for patrons while on/off property. Developing relationships with VIP NM casino patrons, ensuring loyalty, and incremental visits. Managing, issuing discriminatory comps based on player account value.

Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
  1. Coordinates the CDS NM (National Marketing) event/promotion calendar. Compiles a calendar of all events/promotions into one document and reviews document for accuracy or any errors/conflicts.
  2. Coordinates the Arrival/Departure reports of VIP NM guests.
  3. Adheres to NM scheduling and coordinates with NM staff for any scheduling conflicts/concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  4. Helps coordinate various events/promotions and other National Marketing opportunities/initiatives with affiliates/partners and vendors.
  5. Acts as liaison between on property personnel and Independent Agents and Junket Reps ensuring communication is provided as needed.
  6. Oversees compliance and licensing coordination for the Independent Agent and Junket Rep program.
  7. Manages the coordination of groups and individual travel for Affiliation trips, Independent Agents and guests, Junket personnel/groups to include scheduling, creating itinerary, and securing commercial travel to include booking reservations/seat group block and ground transportation.
  8. Work with NM staff to develop processes and procedures for various National Marketing programs/initiatives,
  9. Help administrate/coordinate the payment of Independent/Junket Reps/Agent commissions as well as Vendor orders and invoices.
  10. Support the efforts and projects/programs/initiatives of the National Marketing Team as requested.
  11. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and enterprise standards and programs. Ensures guest service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  12. Responsible for ensuring the compliance of all regulatory practices within NM department.
  13. Focuses on the development and retention of VIP level players by assisting NM staff with hotel reservations and coordinating various facets of NM guests visits.
  14. Helps generate revenue through development of local/national affiliation programs; relationship sales; & NM events utilizing guest database.
  15. Works with various departments to ensure the success internal & of out of market promotions and activities.
  16. Coordinates with outside agencies on the implementation and execution of promotions/events and advertising directed to the internal & NM database.
  17. Maintains current player accounts by verifying that contact information is accurate to maintain the integrity of the database.
  18. Maintains the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and proprietary information.
  19. Adheres to control procedures to protect sensitive guest and CDS data.
  20. Utilizes property amenities and event invitations to enhance/ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  21. Obtains equipment and supplies needed for event/promotions; monitors equipment/supplies to ensure its maintained and properly functioning.
  22. Manages inventory and ordering to ensure efficiency of supplies and products; ensures inventory is managed and controlled.
  23. Practices resourcefulness in finding new and creative ways to reward and recognize VIP level players.
  24. Assists NM staff at VIP events/promotions and as business levels require.
  25. Maintains constant awareness of CDS services, promotions, and events.
  26. Uses diplomacy and tact to build constructive and effective relationships.
  27. Readjusts priorities readily to respond to pressing and changing player demands and/or CDS NM initiatives and or enterprise requests.
  28. Maintains a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, and ethics.
  29. Follows all safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions immediately to staff.
  30. Fosters a team environment by working collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and seamless operation.
  31. Confers with Executive personnel to review departmental practices and discuss recommended changes in practices, procedures or objectives.
  32. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Knowledge of hospitality and gaming concepts, practices, and procedures.
  2. Knowledge of Casino promotions and VIP Player events, excursions.
  3. Ability to conceptualize, create, implement and execute VIP guest invitations, letters and events/excursions.
  4. Knowledge of event/meeting standards, practices, and procedures as well as hospitality/retail products and services.
  5. Knowledge of general accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  6. Knowledge of modern filing and recordkeeping practices and procedures.
  7. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as well as Casino Del Sol Resort internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  8. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, especially word processing and spreadsheet applications, as well as databases and Casino Del Sol player tracking system.
  9. Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  10. Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  11. Strong problem solving skills.
  12. Excellent telephone skills.
  13. Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. High school or General Equivalency Diploma
  2. Must be able to travel and work long hours.
  3. Must be able to work all shift, weekends, holidays, and events as needed.
  4. Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  5. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
  6. Demonstrated history of building relationships and effectively contributing to the bottom-line of an enterprise/organization.
  7. 3 years' experience in a gaming/hospitality environment
  8. 1+ years' of supervisory/management experience within a gaming/hospitality environment
