Purpose
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive paralegal to support our National Eviction Program. This role serves as a critical liaison between our clients and local counsel, ensuring seamless communication, efficient case management of both post-foreclosure and landlord-tenant evictions, and exceptional client service.
Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and local counsel, relaying communications and ensuring prompt follow-ups.
- Urgently address client and local counsel needs, providing timely responses and resolutions.
- Manage case reporting and track eviction referrals from initiation to resolution.
- Monitor and manage local counsel performance, ensuring adherence to client expectations and firm standards.
- Attend client meetings, provide case updates, and maintain clear and professional communication.
- Utilize firm's proprietary software to track and manage cases.
- Prepare and distribute weekly client update reports.
Job Requirements: - High school diploma.
- Legal experience preferred, but not required.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in eviction, real estate, or litigation law is a plus.
- Knowledge of the eviction process is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
