About the Role

Base Location: Flexible UK We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. However, your base 'home' location must be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, or Gateshead.

Salary: £26,200 - £39,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits supporting your finances, wellbeing, and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent Full Time Flexible First options available

The National Contracts Co-ordinator reports to the National Contracts Sales Director and is a key member of the National Contracts business within SSE Smart Buildings.

You will

  1. Enable SSE to transact nationally with facilities management companies.
  2. Ensure we are set up on their system as a supplier with agreed terms of business, payment terms, and communication channels.
  3. Identify key stakeholders to enable demand generation activities, and renegotiation and renewal of agreements.
  4. Manage multiple contracts and customers, working closely with internal teams supporting technical, sales, and operational functions.
  5. Act as a first point of contact for issue escalation and enquiries, to strengthen our relationship and achieve preferred and strategic supplier status by negotiating additional services, day rates, and rebates to incentivise growth.

You have

  1. Experience in a customer-facing role, within Sales or Account Management.
  2. Understanding of basic concepts of Building Energy Systems, BMS & controls, or the construction/mechanical & electrical industry related to facilities management.
  3. Experience dealing with procurement teams within facilities management would be advantageous.
  4. Proactive, articulate, with a polite and professional telephone manner.
