As a National Account Executive for Mariner Logistics, you will build your own book of business while handling your customers' transportation needs. Position Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers to ensure smooth transportation of goods
- Manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on fostering long-term relationships
- Booking, dispatching, tracking, and tracing all trucks on loads
- Use our CRM to identify, call and prospect core and strategic customer opportunities
- Understanding customers' business supply chain goals and providing tailored solutions
- Effectively executing sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations
- Work closely with other internal departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
- Negotiate Rates and contracts with carriers to secure cost-effective shipping solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes and improve efficiency
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities
- Facilitate periodic business reviews to ensure alignment of customers KPI and propose process improvement solutions
- Win trust and build credibility as a trusted advisor to all customer stakeholders
Position Requirements
- College degree preferred, or equivalent experience in similar roles
- 2+ years of Cradle to Grave experience in the logistics industry
- Determination to work hard and be a self-starter
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflict
- Ability to leverage new technologies effectively
- An obsession for great customer service
- Ability to synthesize analysis and sales information
Pay includes base salary+ commission. Our top performers can earn up to $150,00 - 200,000 per year.
