Mutuel Clerk

Keeneland is seeking responsible candidates for Mutuel Clerk positions during the live race meet for the months of April and October. Mutuel Clerks require exceptional customer service skills, the ability to perform ticket sales and cashing functions in a friendly and ethical manner with both speed and a high degree of accuracy under the pressure of a fast-paced environment. Clerks are accountable for all transactions and balances daily to assure accuracy. Candidates should be organized, safety-conscious, and able to commit to assigned work schedule (including Saturdays and Holidays). Potential new hires are required to attend one day of mutuel clerk training.

If hired, Keeneland will commit to at least two (2) days a week, Friday and Saturday but possibly could work up to 5 days (Wednesday through Sunday) if business allows. Must be at least 18 years of age, pass a pre-employment background screening and be able to be licensed by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. This position is a seasonal position.
