Position Summary:
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our municipal water and wastewater business across a high-potential Midwest territory. This is a high-visibility role focused on capital equipment, aftermarket solutions, chemicals, and rental offerings.
You'll inherit a three-year active pipeline, including key accounts in Colorado, and take ownership of a mature, rep-driven territory. If you're a strong relationship builder who can drive sales and keep projects moving, this is a significant opportunity with uncapped earnings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regional sales activities across capital equipment, aftermarket, chemicals, and rentals
- Develop relationships with reps, engineers, end users, and other stakeholders
- Act as the "conductor" of the region - coordinating and pushing deals forward
- Inherit and grow an established territory with active and warm leads
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
Candidate Profile:
- Sales experience required; open to candidates transitioning into sales from adjacent technical roles
- Strong preference for background in biological treatment or capital equipment
- Experience working with municipal clients or within the water/wastewater industry a plus
- Comfortable with high travel demands (50%+)
- Motivated, self-directed, and capable of owning a territory
Compensation Structure:
- Base salary: $100K-$120K
- Commission paid on $6M sales base with additional kicker for revenue beyond target
- First-year income expected to be strong due to inherited pipeline
