Maintenance South Preston Full Time Permanent

The Opportunity:
We are seeking fully qualified, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work with advanced manufacturing technology in a fast-paced environment, supported by a structured Advanced Development Programme to enhance your skills and career progression.

Shift Pattern:

  • 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts).

  • Enjoy two weekends off every 4 weeks and extended time for family, hobbies, and personal pursuits.

Salary:

  • 54,174 - 56,346 ( 26.99 - 28.07 per hour), dependent on qualifications and experience.

  • Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Uphold Health & Safety, Food Safety, and GMP standards to ensure a compliant, secure workplace.

  • Deliver proactive/reactive maintenance to optimize machinery performance in production areas.

  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and troubleshoot equipment issues.

  • Lead root cause analysis and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.

What You Bring:

  • HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in Engineering, plus a completed apprenticeship.

  • 2+ years post-apprenticeship experience in maintenance, ideally within FMCG/hygienic production.

  • Proficiency in CMMS systems, MS Office, and technical problem-solving.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure, make data-driven decisions, and communicate effectively.
