Multi-Cloud Systems Engineer to become part of our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a professional with proven expertise in managing both Windows and Linux servers across diverse cloud environments. As a key team member, you will drive the design of innovative solutions, oversee compute and storage systems, enhance operational efficiency through automation, and uphold scalability, flexibility, and compliance.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Systems Administration:
- Conduct system administration for Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 8, which includes regular upgrades, vulnerability management, troubleshooting, automation using scripting languages, performance monitoring, application inventory, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement deployments utilizing infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines for cloud-native services.
- Oversee the lifecycle of SSL certificates along with associated infrastructure and domains.
- Manage robust data backup and disaster recovery policies and testing.
- Active Directory Management:
- Oversee the lifecycle of human and system identities, including onboarding, offboarding, role management, privilege escalation, and access reviews.
- Update and manage group policies and identities in Active Directory and Azure EntraID to align with the Enterprise Access Model.
- Network Infrastructure:
- Design and implement highly available network architectures while managing security and routing for a hybrid-cloud environment.
- Manage IP access rules, address sourcing, and CIDR whitelist/blacklist protocols.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Effectively communicate with DevSecOps teams to deploy appropriate cloud-native solutions while maintaining comprehensive documentation of systems and network architecture, including diagrams and operational procedures.
- Engage in internal training to promote knowledge sharing, empower decision making, and manage incident reporting.
- Identify and execute initiatives for cost savings and operational efficiencies throughout project and resource lifecycles.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field, accompanied by 4+ years of experience in managing systems environments.
- Expertise in both Windows and Linux Server operating systems and application management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and server hardening techniques.
- Experience with managing network architectures, encompassing DNS, VPN, DHCP, TLS, and IP routing.
- Proven ability to automate infrastructure tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated aptitude for independent problem solving and resolution.
- A proactive self-starter with strong communication skills suited for collaboration with development teams and clients.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining public trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Certifications related to cloud or security, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, and Certified Information System Security Professional.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Policy, or Azure EntraID is highly valued.
Compensation for this position is in the range of $100,000 to $105,000.
