Need to know data modeling and API's (client consuming API's).
Prefers more generalists by nature; not folks who are super pigeon holed in one tech area
Wants hands-on architects (not those that only attend meetings, but do actual solution architecting) who can look at things and say "what is the best solution"

Ability to abstract info, i.e. They can do XYZ, but they also understand the WHY behind what you're doing.

NOTE:

Our client wants "American born" types ( not necessarily born here but fully Westernized) like a 'good ole boy' scenario.
Must be "Americanized" 100% - no thick accents or "woke BS" as per the customer. They need to be able to take criticism and learn from it, not get "bad feels" etc., so likely will not be "pronoun person". There is no room for that sensitivity as this is a business.
