Overview MTH Logistics Sales Supervisor

Major Functions:

Responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Oversee sales activities, establish performance goals and ensure targets are achieved.

Responsibilities Accountabilities:
  • Monitor accounts daily to maintain existing relationships.
  • Responsible for making sales calls to potential or current customers. Strategies include daily cold-calling, lead generation through relationship selling, occasional client visits, and tele-sales.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships, assessing client-specific needs, and promoting the organization's services to achieve sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to market the company's services.
  • Negotiates prices and services with customers and carriers.
  • Responsible for achieving assigned quotas and budgeted sales revenue targets.
  • Oversee the supervision of shipments until delivery is finalized, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify companies that are not currently engaged in business with the organization
  • Build relationships and sell to clients through phone or one-on-one.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the MDI Outside Storage Manager to enhance 3PL sales through shared services.
  • Manage customer and client key performance indicators (KPIs) and expectations
  • Develop and manage the sales funnel to achieve targeted sales figures.
  • Create and execute Monthly/Quarterly Customer Business Reviews.
  • May be required to perform additional tasks as needed and work a flexible schedule.
Qualifications Desirable Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
