The team you'll be working with:

The Microsoft Biz Apps Business Development Director reports directly to the UK&I Practice Lead for Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform. This role is responsible for generating pipeline, leading presales, and growing our UK&I business and partnerships. It requires cross-industry collaboration, understanding customer requirements, and designing innovative Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, with extensive expertise in Microsoft Business Applications, and demonstrate leadership, client-centricity, and creativity to align solutions with client needs and industry standards.

While you will have a personal sales target, remuneration is team-based rather than a percentage of personal achievements. We value team players.

What you'll be doing:
  • Develop and execute our GTM and Presales Strategy aligned with our Microsoft Business Applications and overall company strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand market trends and identify opportunities.
  • Qualify leads, facilitate discovery workshops, and understand client requirements to craft tailored proposals.
  • Leverage your network to generate leads.
  • Respond to procurement processes (RFI, RFP, etc.).
  • Build trusted relationships by understanding client pain points.
  • Design and present scalable Microsoft Business Applications solutions and lead go-to-market campaigns.
  • Provide technical and business expertise during sales presentations.
  • Manage partner relationships with Microsoft and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Improve pre-sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct competitor research to inform strategy.
  • Increase brand awareness and strengthen partnerships.
  • Align internal capabilities with market needs and strategy.
  • Conduct product demos, technical presentations, and proof of concepts.
  • Attend conferences and client meetings, emphasizing face-to-face communication.
What experience you'll bring:
  • 7+ years in business development, pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting within Microsoft Business Applications.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Customer Service, Sales, Customer Insights), Power Platform, and Copilot.
  • Existing network with Microsoft and enterprise clients.
  • Proven leadership in managing pre-sales teams and engagements.
  • Experience managing a vendor partnership with Microsoft.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on revenue growth and client value.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record of closing large Microsoft deals.
  • Familiarity with licensing, commercial models, agile, and project management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
