MS Azure Cloud Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Engages with both existing and prospective customers through seminars, workshops, webinars, direct outreach (personalized campaigns targeting the assigned portfolio), and internal channels (e.g., Marketing) to explore, promote, and validate concepts. Demonstrates how various workloads can drive industry-specific transformation aligned with customer needs.
• Develops and structures Customer Solution designs, translates them into customer proposals, and provides budgetary pricing for the required solutions.
• Collaborates with customer teams to design solutions for applications based on Microsoft Azure, facilitate transitions to Microsoft Azure, or modernize applications for Azure environments.
• Works closely with account and customer success teams to identify, qualify, and track new opportunities with a focus on recurring service revenue growth.
• Evaluates customer business needs and technology readiness, contributing to the development of prioritized solutions. This includes preparing solution architectures, Statements of Work (SOWs), and time/cost/pricing estimates.
• Supports strategies and initiatives to accelerate the closure of key opportunities.
• Drives innovation by actively contributing to product and service development, including research and development (R&D), both as a product owner and as a supporting resource for other product owners as needed.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of overall experience with 3+ years as MS Azure Cloud Solution Architect
• Consulting background is a must
• Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: technical presales, post-sales consulting, or IT application implementation/management for a company or customer
• Strong passion and capability for innovation and product development
• Expertise in driving and designing solution strategies as part of the overall opportunity lifecycle
• In-depth knowledge of cloud and hosting technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, with the ability to translate business requirements into standardized solutions and guide customers through their cloud adoption journey.
• Extensive collaboration with technical pursuit teams to design cloud-based customer solutions.
• Proven experience engaging with customers and stakeholders in presales or consulting roles related to business application workloads.
