Required Skills & Experience


7+ years of engineering experience within the following (Master's Degree accounts for 2 years of experience):

- Experience within Model, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) supporting a DoD or DoE program within Hypersonic Interceptors, Ballistic Missile Defense or ICBM programs

- Experience within Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineering

- Experience with integrated requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and deliverables with system engineering principles

- Familiarity of Acquisition Documents and/or DAU standard documenting

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

- Active Secret Clearance + TS and SAP eligible

- Ability to sit on site at Hill AFB daily (located in Clearfield, UT)

Plusses:

- Experience within Hypersonic Interceptors, Ballistic Missile Defense or ICBM programs

- Master's Degree -Active Secret Clearance or higher

Job Description


Insight Global is seeking a Cleared MS&A Engineer to join one of their top defense clients at Hill Air Force Base supporting a large defensive weaponry program. Currently, this program is in Pre-Milestone A and are preparing various acquisition documents for the customer to establish the baseline of this program as it prepares for Milestone A. This individual will provide their expertise within MS&A Engineering to serve as the liaison between various other partners on the program including the Department of Energy, Lead Project Officer Groups, and other executives on a regular basis. Additionally, they will provide analysis for complex requirements, specification documents, designs, architectures, and engineering proposals for the customer in relation to the overall program. As the acquisition documents become solidified for the programs foundation, this individual will be seen as a subject matter expert of MS&A disciplines to provide oversight of tests being performed, validating the data received from tests, and reviewing analysis created by this data for the customer to make business decisions.



Compensation:

$60/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
