Volt is immediately hiring for a
MRI Technologist in
Syracuse NY.As a
MRI Technologist you will:
- Perform MRI scans following established protocols
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients for high-quality imaging
- Adjust MRI machine settings for clear images
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Conduct quality assurance procedures and implement improvements
- Operate power injectors for contrast media
- Start IVs and administer contrast media as directed
- Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label appropriately
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
- Address the psychological and physical needs of patients during procedures
This is a
full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and 10:30am to 7:00pmThe ideal candidate will have:
- Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years MRI clinical experience required.
- Valid ARRT license, registered in MRI.
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
Salary: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
