Volt is immediately hiring for a MRI Technologist in Syracuse NY.

As a MRI Technologist you will:

• Perform MRI scans following established protocols
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety
• Position patients for high-quality imaging
• Adjust MRI machine settings for clear images
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Conduct quality assurance procedures and implement improvements
• Operate power injectors for contrast media
• Start IVs and administer contrast media as directed
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label appropriately
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
• Address the psychological and physical needs of patients during procedures

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and 10:30am to 7:00pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years MRI clinical experience required.
• Valid ARRT license, registered in MRI.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Salary: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
