Performs a variety of standard and specialty Magnetic Resonance procedures with accuracy, utilizing radiofrequencies, time varying gradients and a high magnetic field, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with little supervision. Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, MRI physics and image production. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

Performing MRI exams and procedures on outpatients, inpatients, and children coming from the emergency department with a focus on patient safety. EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of six (6) months MRI training/school required
- Bilingual skills preferred
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required AND a graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology; successful completion from a certified MRI program, or hospital based program OR a College Degree - 2 year in Radiology
- College Degree - 4 year preferred
- BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
- RT-MR - ARRT Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification required
- CRT - CA Radiologic Technologist License preferred
