Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Elizabeth City, NC
Salary: $2,600/week

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our healthcare facility in Elizabeth City, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to obtain quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely imaging services to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the scanning process.

Key Responsibilities
Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients according to established protocols and physician directives
Ensure patient safety by following strict guidelines, protocols, and standards for MRI procedures, including screening patients for contraindications and ensuring they are properly prepared for the examination
Position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters to optimize image quality and obtain accurate diagnostic information
Administer contrast agents and other medications under the direction of a physician as necessary for enhanced imaging
Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their comfort, safety, and cooperation throughout the examination
Evaluate images for quality, ensuring proper identification and labeling, and communicate any important findings to the interpreting radiologist
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring complete documentation of procedures, findings, and other essential information in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory standards
Collaborate and communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of quality patient care
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment, promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions or discrepancies
Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols to minimize risks associated with radiation exposure and the handling of hazardous materials
Requirements
BLS Certification (required)
ARRT Certification (required)
2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical setting
