As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. You will use your knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and technical expertise to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
Operate MRI Scanners : Capture high-quality diagnostic images according to established protocols and physician orders.
Ensure Patient Safety : Screen patients for contraindications and prepare them for MRI procedures while following strict safety guidelines.
Patient Positioning : Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging parameters to optimise image quality.
Administer Contrast Agents : Administer contrast materials or medications under the direction of a physician, as needed.
Monitor Patients : Ensure patients' comfort and safety during the scanning process and address any concerns.
Evaluate Image Quality : Review images for accuracy and clarity, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Maintain Records : Keep accurate and detailed records of procedures, findings, and other essential data.
Collaborate with Healthcare Teams : Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Maintain Equipment : Perform routine maintenance on MRI equipment and promptly report any malfunctions.
Adhere to Protocols : Follow infection control and safety protocols to minimise risks associated with radiation and hazardous materials.

Requirements
BLS Certification (required)
ARRT Certification (required)
2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical setting
