MQ Administrator with Security Clearance

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a MQ Administrator who can work in MQ version 9.3. In this role you will be responsible for resolving test and production issues, working on customer requests such as creating a new queues, queue manager & changing queue depth. Partial Onsite - at least 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday) and as needed - Columbia, SC Responsibilities of the MQ Administrator:

• Standard Hours - 8-4:30pm Monday - Friday. Overtime, on call, weekends, and off hours as needed

• Working on a multitude of projects ranging from installing the latest release of MQ to configuring MQ on servers Working with error reports and handling multiple tasks at the same time Internal monitoring such as checking queue depth Requirements of the MQ Administrator:

• Required Work Experience: 6 Years IT work experience including varied systems programming experience

• Mainframe/host experience, IBM z/OS MQ mainframe, Experience creating/maintaining a queue manager and queues

• Nice To Have: CICS - desired IBM Websphere MQ, Unix & zlinux
• Required Education: Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other job related field or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree Compensation / Benefits:
